Timor-Leste – Presidential vetoes

The East Timor Law and Justice Bulletin is reporting that the outgoing president, José Ramos-Horta, has vetoed three bills. They all related to Land Law bills that had been passed by parliament.

The report indicates that the vetoes were issued on 20 March. The first round of the presidential election, at which Ramos-Horta came third and was eliminated, was held on 17 March.
