There were a lot of posts on Haiti last year because it took such a lot of time to select the prime minister. A new report from the ICG gives an overview on last year’s problems and also provides information about the progress of the new government. It doesn’t make for very comfortable reading, especially with Senate elections in the next few weeks. However, it is a really useful source of up-to-date information about the country.
